January 27th, 2012 by officer808Mike Buck hosted Hawaii Five-0′s executive producer Peter Lenkov for the first time at his new home at AM 690 KHNR. Peter discussed Jenna Kaye, upcoming appearances of Michelle Borth, the retutn of Shelburne in the finale, Will Yun Lee as Sang Min, creating the NCIS:LA/Hawaii Five-0 crossover, his chances of doing a cameo on his own show, and gave me an exclusive teaser on James Caan’s upcoming role. I got a kick out of Peter’s story of James Caan’s interest in the show and how he pitched his character to Peter and Paul Z. Peter also re-confirmed that there will be 24 episodes. Peter closed by saying that this has been the best crew that he’s worked with. Friends of the blog@TereseaLea, @fiveophans, @Pinkiepie230, and @Fitgirl called in and asked their own questions to Peter as well. It was a fun interview, and a big mahalo goes to Mike Buck and Peter Lenkov!

Hey, Undercover! Loved the interview! So glad Mike Buck is back on the air and talking abourt H-50 again! Does he have any idea he is a radio celebrity in Montana? Also so happy to have H5-0 news getting out to us again – really missing the interviews and information that we so looked forward to last year! Hopefully Peter and cast will give us more interviews to look forward to! Thanks so much, Undercover, Mike and Peter!

Good stuff! Listened to the podcast while working at the office, and that hour blew right by.
I will like to say something about this site. First of all I like it beause I can comment with other people the show episodes and characters and also thigns related to H50. I hope it will be always updated so we know fresh news on the show but also I like that they update us in Alex news as well. I want to say that this site needs a photo section that be amazing so they post pics of the show, episodes, the cast, things related to H50, red carpet events, social events related to the cast and H50 and also photos of Alex. That be so neat if they can do it inthe future
Enoyed the podcast, especially the news about James Caan’s character and how Peter hopes it can be a recurring character – how awesome that would be! He also stated he and Paul Z couldn’t stop laughing when James pitched the idea of the character to them – cannot wait to see this episode! Also, he and Scott have such amazing screen presence. Should be one of best of the shows to date

So thrilled that Mike Buck is back on the radio and discussing our favorite show once again! Mahalo Bob for posting the podcast. I couldn’t get the connection on my lap top to listen live. Peter is such a great guy to connect with his fans the way he does. It’s so much fun to get an inside look at how the show is written and how guests are chosen.
I had to laugh at the total shocked response Peter gave about the sexual tension between Steve and Lori! ROFLMAO I guess NOW people can FINALLY let that go!!! ROFL
So cool that James Caan is such a fan of the show that he is absorbed with Danny’s storyline! That is so cute. I can’t wait to see what character he thought up that had Peter and Paul Z in stitches!
Oh and Joey…you totally ROCK brah! Super fan and great guy FOR SURE!!!! Can’t wait to see you at the ball park again. So you see, Mike not only has fans in Montana but all the way in Philadelphia too!

Hey Mcphee I guess Peter was talking about the sexual tension between Catherine and Steve not Steve and Lori, and that Catherine will be on more upcoming episodes, he was speaking of Catherine not Lori. A friend just told me that
I believe the question was asked of Peter if Steve was going to have any…um…Barry White time? coming up. The comment by Mike (I think it was him?) was that there’s been lots of rumors on Twitter about sexual tension between Steve and Lori, and Peter responded Steve and Lori!!??!!?? He sounded pretty surprised, like that was a novel idea. Then he continued that Catherine would be back in ep. 16, and we can rest assured that Steve will be a happy camper (my words, not Peter’s.) He hopes to get Michelle back for more eps., too.
Hi, I for one can’t download the podcast (in that regard Linux su…; and since I’m computer illiterate and couldn’t find a way to make it work by actually finding a program that works), please Five-0 Undercover, if at all possible could you email me the questions and answers, instead of possibly spoiling it for anyone who might not want to be spoiled at all? It should work with .mp3 fine on Windows Media Player it worked fine on mine with Windows 7 or try anything that is related to apple computers
Great interview I loved it! Most of the questions were form Twitter followers and Mainlanders but hey the questions were good.
I liked how he mentioned that there could be a possiblity that James Caan could be recurring how could that be?
